Orphan Christmas
We had a relaxing, fun Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve we got together with Don & Mary, Brad & Debbie, Mark & Vickie and Mark's Mom, Isabella who is visiting from Niagara Falls, Canada. We had an awesome dinner at an Italian restaurant the the Lone Buttes Casino. On Christmas Day, we were invited over to Mark & Vickie's for their "Orphan's Christmas" which was pretty much anyone who didn't have anywhere else to go. I think there was 13 of us. Mark roasted and fried a turkey and made some awesome stuffing (secret ingredient: bacon). Everyone brought something and we had a huge feast (and lots of laughs and fun). We ended the night playing Rock Band in Mark's man cave upstairs.
We are looking forward to my Mom and Dad coming on Jan. 8. They have a one way ticket so far, so they can stay until they are ready to go home. I am thinking they will probably be here until the first part of March, just so they can escape the worst part of the winter.
