The weekend started out with Girls Night out at Tempe Market Place with dinner at Genghis Grill.  Paula is heading to Indiana to get married this next weekend.  John was fighting off a nasty cold so he was more than happy to get some much needed rest.  Saturday was a very rainy and cold day for us.  Fortunately Sunday we were able to get out for our weekly hike in the White Tank Mountains.  Paula, Mary, Vickie and I headed out for what we thought was going to be about a 4 mile hike. 4 hours later, we are guessing we had close to 6-7 miles in.  It started out really easy and as we got up into the mountains it got very challenging. There were pools of water in the  mountains (which is where the White Tanks got their name). Vickie also helped me figure out the self timer on my camera so we were able to get a group shot. It was a  beautiful hike and a lot of fun!
