Happy Labor Day to everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. On Thursday night we got Rohan and had him until Saturday morning. We had a great time with Rohan. He entertained us constantly. We dropped him back off with Mara and then headed to the Valley Ho in Scottsdale for our "Staycation" that John won with a local radio station. It was a really cool hotel - very retro 70's. After lunch at Giligan's Sand Bar, we walked around Old Town Scottsdale. The one thing we bought was a Packer shirt of all things! We had a nice dinner at the Grapevine out on tbe patio and then later went to the Tortilla Factory for dessert on their patio by the fountain with fire coming out of the top. I'm being really descriptive because we didn't have our camera and missed a lot of great photo ops. Oh, well. We're wrapping up our weekend with my 6 mile run this morning, grocery shopping and grilling out.
(and maybe a dip in the pool!)

Sounds like you had a good weekend, too - we took advantage of every minute with Sam, and got to talk with the Germany Bacons after the Aho's headed home today. :)
