The lease was up on my Honda CRV, so we went car shopping yesterday. We decided to look at the Nissans just for fun and ended up with a '08 Nissan Altima. The selling point was the "Smart Key". You just keep it in your purse (or wherever) and you don't need a key to open the door or start the car (push button start). There is a button on the door handle that you hit and it unlocks the doors. If by chance the smart key was left in the car (or trunk) the doors will not lock. It's pretty awesome and a great feature! Anyway, the Honda Accord didn't offer it so it was a done deal with the Nissan. We also reduced our monthly payment from our CRV (thanks to my ex-car salesman husband).

I had an Altima on my trip to Des Moines this week. The Smart Key definitely takes some getting used to (I was always afraid I was going to lose the fob thingy), but it was definitely sweet and zippy! Enjoy your new wheels!
