Labor Day Weekend
We just had a fantastic Labor Day weekend. It was packed with so much fun! We started our weekend Friday night driving up to Laughlin where we stayed for the night. Saturday morning I did my 3 mile run (in order to be ready for the Wounded Warrior Run in Stevens Point next Saturday morning with Holly and Cari). After that we headed to Vegas to meet up with our friends Mark and Vicki and Main Street Station for lunch. We visited the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop which is featured on the tv show Pawn Stars on the History channel. It was really cool! After that we made a stop at the wedding chapel where John and I got married (almost 18 years ago!). We parted ways with Mark and Vickie (we met up with them in Laughlin after the Badger game) and took a walk downtown Las Vegas. Later on we met my nephew Steve at a Badger bar called Big Dog's Brewery. We spent a couple hours with Steve catching up and having dinner. Sorry we missed Erin who was in Montana for the weekend. After dinner we headed to the Badger/UNLV game. It was my very first Badger game! We had a lot of fun. It was after midnight by the time we got back to Laughlin. A very fun, long day. Sunday was a little more relaxing. We saw a great show at the hotel Sunday night called "Sin City Burlesque". It was a little more risque than we thought, but it was very entertaining. The "Snow White" stripper from one of the first seasons of America's Got Talent was part of the show. Very interesting. We, of course had fun (and I think Mark and Vicike did, too!). No pictures from that part of the weekend : ). On Sunday, before we headed home, we went to Oatman, AZ. It is an old mining town where wild burros roam free on the streets. It was so cool! After a nice relaxing lunch and hanging out with the burros for a while, we finally headed home.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!

Looks like you had a really good time! Nice you could meet up with Steve, too. The burros - at least the brown ones, look like our neighbors' minis.
